Open OBS and click the ➕ (plus) icon under the Sources section, then select Media Source.
In the pop-up window, click Create New, then hit OK to open the media properties.
Click Browse next to the “Local File” field, and select your desired APNG file.
If your file isn’t visible, change the file type dropdown at the bottom right from “All Media Files” to “All Files”. This will allow APNG files to appear.
o make your APNG loop, right-click on the newly added source in the Sources list, select Properties, and check the Loop box.
To play the APNG manually, toggle the eye icon (visibility) off and on. It will restart from the beginning each time you show it.
Once complete, your APNG will display beautifully with transparency. Try incorporating these animated images into your streams or videos for extra flair!
