This is a free illustration of sanshoku dango, a traditional Japanese sweet made up of three colorful rice dumplings on a skewer. Lately, dango come in all sorts of flavors, but I still love the old-school classics like mitarashi. This version is drawn from the side, making it perfect for games or streaming layouts. Why three colors? One theory says pink stands for cherry blossoms, white for white sake, and green for mugwort—all signs of spring.
