This is a free animated illustration of a classic “dizzy” or “stunned” state often used in games and anime. In Japanese gaming slang, “piyoru” (ピヨる) describes a state where a character becomes unresponsive—stunned after taking too much damage. The term originated from the Capcom fighting game Street Fighter II, where stunned characters had chicks spinning around their heads and a chirping “piyo piyo” sound effect.

Though originally tied to fighting games, “piyoru” is now used more broadly to describe moments of confusion, panic, or emotional overwhelm—even in daily conversation.

Use this animation for game UIs, character damage sequences, chaotic scenes, or to add a light-hearted touch to “uh-oh” moments.
